40 hours per week; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Tuesday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm As a Counselor - Mobile Assessment, you will: Provide orientations for new WTW (Welfare-to-Work) participants, train Case Managers, conduct screenings and provide referrals for social service needs. May work off-site at a Welfare-to-Work office. Work closely with collaborative partners and other providers in the region to facilitate access to program service and other social services needed for WTW clients. Assist clients in developing service plan goals and prioritizing needs and steps to reach established goals. Participate in weekly Care Coordination meetings.

Bachelor's degree in a mental health-related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required Additional Qualifications and Skills Bilingual Spanish is required for this position Minimum of 2 years of experience assisting hard-to-place populations, including severe mental illness, severe emotional disorder and WTW clients Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office A valid California driver's license in good standing, personal vehicle, proof of insurance and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position Ability to pass criminal/background clearance Meets the needs of clients by providing indicated CalWORKs case management and assessment services, and bills and documents services appropriately.
