Job Description
Workers Compensation Case manager / Legal Assistant Are you looking for an excellent work environment where you get to help injured workers every day? We are a large Workers Compensation Firm looking for full-time case managers to join our expanding team. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have excellent communication skills who work independently, are detail orientated and have the ability to multi-task. Our team members are well compensated and have many bonus opportunities and room for advancement. Qualifications At least 1 year experience in Worker's Compensation Law. Familiar with EAMS/ WCAB, DORs filing, PQME evaluation Excellent grammar and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking skills Bilingual English/Spanish required Key Responsibilities Process and organize new files from Intake Assist handling attorney or hearing representative from beginning of case to settlement Serve as primary point of contact to applicant, insurance, and medical providers on case File and Serve Workers Compensation Documents Manage applicants' treatment including obtaining medical records, scheduling medical appointments, requesting doctor panels, scheduling AME/PQMEs Prepare Pre-Trial Conference Statements, settlement documents and Trial exhibits Keep applicants up to date on the status of their case Compensation Competitive salary based on experience ($22/hr - $34/hr) Performance Bonus Opportunities Paid time off Medical, dental and 401(k) with employer contribution Ongoing training and advancement opportunities Modern fully equipped ergonomic workstations Company outings, parties and appreciation days Highly experienced candidates with significant workers' compensation case management experience may be considered for higher compensation.
