Case Manager - Personal Injury Law Firm (California)

About Us:

We are a growing Personal Injury Law Firm in California dedicated to helping injured individuals navigate the legal process with care and expertise. We are looking for a Case Manager to join our team. Prior case managing experience preferred, but we are also willing to train the right candidate. This role provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in personal injury law , assisting our pre-litigation team . Over time, we will help transition you into a specialized full-time position that best matches your strengths and interests.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, treatment, and next steps Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, lienholders, and other third parties Request and follow up on medical records and billing Monitor clients' medical treatment and outstanding balances Obtain and review medical records, bills, insurance information, and other case documents Prepare and organize demand packages and supporting documentation Follow up with insurance companies regarding liability, coverage, claims, and settlement negotiations Assist with settlement negotiations and lien resolution Maintain accurate and organized case files Calendar and monitor important case deadlines and follow-ups Ensure all case documents and correspondence are properly saved and organized Maintain accurate and timely case notes in the firm's case management system Coordinate with attorneys and other team members regarding case strategy and status Follow firm procedures and contribute to improving case management processes Handle client questions and concerns professionally and promptly Qualifications Prior experience handling personal injury cases strongly preferred 2+ years of personal injury case management experience preferred Strong understanding of the personal injury claims and settlement process Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines Strong attention to detail Comfortable communicating with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and attorneys Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team Professional, dependable, and proactive work ethic Why Join Us?
