Job Description

We are looking for a Case Manager to support families and children through essential program coordination and administrative case services in Gardena, California. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can balance compassionate client support with accurate documentation, compliance tracking, and timely follow-up. The role sits within a fast-moving non-profit environment and requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to keep multiple cases progressing efficiently.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee an assigned caseload and guide clients through intake, enrollment, follow-up, and ongoing case coordination activities.
  • Review applications and supporting records to help determine program eligibility and maintain compliance with established guidelines and deadlines.
  • Prepare, update, and organize case files with a high level of accuracy, ensuring documentation is complete and audit-ready.
  • Communicate with families, caregivers, and partner agencies by phone and email to answer questions, provide updates, and resolve routine concerns.
  • Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate recertification timelines to help clients remain active in eligible programs.
  • Enter case information into tracking systems and databases while maintaining dependable records and consistent data integrity.
  • Support administrative operations by handling inbound inquiries, monitoring required paperwork, and prioritizing tasks in a high-volume setting.
  • Work collaboratively with internal staff to ensure services are delivered efficiently and clients receive timely assistance.
  • Track important milestones, follow through on outstanding items, and escalate complex issues when additional review is needed.
