Legal Case Manager Job Type:
Full-Time We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Case Manager to join a growing Lemon Law plaintiff-side law practice and manage a high volume of pre-litigation matters. This is a client-facing position for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and taking ownership of multiple matters from intake through the pre-litigation process. The Legal Case Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, working closely with attorneys and internal teams to ensure cases are properly documented, clients are informed, and matters continue moving forward efficiently. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who can build trust with clients, manage competing priorities, follow established processes, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the pre-litigation process, providing professional and responsive communication by phone and email Gather, request, review, and organize client records and supporting documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information within the firm's case management system Educate clients regarding the general legal process, timelines, required documentation, and next steps Respond promptly and professionally to client questions, concerns, and requests Proactively follow up with clients to obtain outstanding information and documentation and keep matters progressing Monitor assigned cases and identify outstanding tasks, deadlines, or potential issues requiring attention Communicate effectively with attorneys and internal team members regarding case developments and client concerns Identify and escalate critical, sensitive, or time-sensitive matters to the appropriate attorney or team member Provide backup support for incoming calls and client communications during periods of high volume Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive client information Consistently follow established procedures while contributing ideas for improving workflow, efficiency, and the client experience Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in legal intake, case management, customer service, call center, or a similar client-facing environment Previous law firm experience preferred Experience in plaintiff-side law, Lemon Law, consumer protection, personal injury, or a similar practice area is a plus Bilingual Spanish Required Strong verbal and written communication skills Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through Ability to accurately document and manage a high volume of client information Comfortable working with CRM, case management, and other technology platforms Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases and competing deadlines Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude Highly coachable with a willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously improve Demonstrated ability to remain organized, responsive, and professional in a fast-paced, high-volume environment What We're Looking For The right person will be someone who takes ownership of their work and understands that excellent case management goes beyond completing tasks, it means keeping clients informed, anticipating what is needed next, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
