Personal Injury Case Manager Nordean Law, APC Tustin, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $24 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Free parking Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Spanish Arabic Filing High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Organizational skills Legal case management Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of personal injury cases from intake through pre-litigation settlement Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding treatment, case status, expectations, and next steps Coordinate medical treatment and obtain medical records, bills, reports, and other supporting documentation Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, lienholders, and other involved parties Investigate claims and gather relevant evidence, including police reports, photographs, witness information, insurance documentation, and loss-related records Monitor client treatment and ensure appropriate follow-up throughout the course of the case Identify gaps in treatment, coverage issues, liability concerns, and other potential case problems early Confirm and document applicable insurance coverage and policy limits when appropriate Prepare files for demand, including ensuring all necessary medical records, billing, specials, and supporting documentation have been obtained Assist with preparation and review of settlement demand packages Negotiate bodily injury claims with insurance carriers when appropriate and in coordination with supervising attorneys Maintain accurate and detailed case notes, tasks, deadlines, and documentation within the firm's case management system Assist with lien resolution, reductions, and settlement-related documentation Work collaboratively with attorneys and management regarding case strategy, valuation, and escalation of complex matters Ensure files continuously progress and do not become stagnant Provide clients with a professional, responsive, and compassionate experience throughout their case Qualifications 2+ years of personal injury case management experience preferred Strong knowledge of the pre-litigation personal injury process Experience managing cases from intake through settlement Familiarity with medical treatment, medical records, billing, liens, insurance coverage, and bodily injury claims Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines and a significant caseload without sacrificing quality Strong judgment and ability to identify when an issue should be escalated Comfortable communicating and negotiating with insurance adjusters Ability to work independently while remaining accountable to team standards and processes Professional, dependable, and solutions-oriented Spanish or Arabic speaking ability is a plus but not required.
