Job Description

Case Manager - Property Damage (Motor Vehicle Accidents) Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented Case Manager - Property Damage to assist motor vehicle accident (MVA) victims with the property damage portion of their claims. The Case Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, insurance companies, repair facilities, towing companies, rental car providers, and other parties involved in resolving vehicle damage claims. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, and a strong understanding of the property damage claims process. This position requires someone who can advocate for clients while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and timely follow-up. Key Responsibilities Manage property damage claims for clients involved in motor vehicle accidents. Contact and communicate with insurance companies regarding vehicle damage claims, liability, estimates, inspections, and claim status. Assist clients with the process of obtaining vehicle damage estimates and coordinating inspections. Coordinate with body shops, repair facilities, towing companies, storage facilities, and rental car companies. Assist clients in arranging rental vehicles or alternative transportation when appropriate. Track vehicle repairs, total-loss evaluations, payments, and claim resolutions. Communicate with insurance adjusters and document all claim-related conversations and correspondence. Obtain and maintain necessary documentation, including accident reports, photographs, repair estimates, vehicle information, insurance information, and correspondence. Follow up regularly with insurance carriers and other parties to prevent unnecessary delays. Identify potential issues or disputes related to property damage and escalate them to the appropriate supervisor or attorney when necessary. Keep clients informed of the status of their property damage claim and explain the next steps in a clear and professional manner. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes and records in the company's case management system. Monitor deadlines, follow-ups, inspections, repairs, rental vehicles, and claim payments. Coordinate with attorneys, legal staff, medical case managers, and other internal departments as needed. Protect client confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Provide compassionate and professional customer service to clients who may be dealing with the stress and inconvenience of an accident. Qualifications Previous experience in case management, insurance claims, personal injury, property damage, automotive claims, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of the motor vehicle accident/property damage claims process. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and follow-up skills. Ability to communicate effectively with insurance adjusters, clients, repair facilities, and other professionals. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and case management software. Ability to maintain accurate documentation and meet deadlines. Professional, empathetic, and client-focused demeanor. Preferred Experience Experience working with personal injury law firms, insurance companies, collision centers, or MVA-related claims is strongly preferred. Knowledge of insurance terminology, liability, diminished value, total-loss claims, rental coverage, towing/storage charges, and repair estimates is a plus. Position Type Full-Time The Case Manager will play an important role in helping MVA victims navigate the property damage process, reduce delays, and obtain timely resolution of their vehicle-related claims while providing professional and compassionate support throughout the process.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
