Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Case Manager to join our legal support team. In this vital role, you will oversee the management of diverse legal cases, ensuring efficient progression from initiation to resolution. Your expertise in various areas of law, combined with strong organizational and communication skills, will drive the success of our legal operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex legal matters while supporting a collaborative and innovative environment. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of clients, providing guidance and support throughout the legal process. Prepare and review legal documents for accuracy, ensuring all materials are proofread and compliant with legal standards. Utilize project management skills to coordinate case timelines and ensure timely completion of tasks. Maintain organized case files using legal case management software, including Lexis-Nexis. Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to provide updates on case progress. Assist in developing strategies for case resolution and advocate for clients' best interests. Experience Proven experience in legal case management within a law office or legal support Proven experience in legal case management or a related field is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Proficient in research techniques and able to analyze complex legal information effectively. Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all documentation. Familiarity with project management principles to oversee case timelines effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
