Job Description

Anchorage Children's home is seeking to fill a Dependency Case Manager position to perform work in Chipley, FL. This is professional work protecting children and working with families who are at risk or have actually experienced abuse, neglect and/or abandonment. Services may include either or both, protective supervision and foster care services. This position works with children and their families to conduct assessments, develop appropriate case plans, refer for specific services, collect and submit documentation necessary for court work, monitor progress toward permanency and their goals, as well as other duties necessary to ensure the safety and well being of children receiving services.
Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelors degree in social work, counseling, psychology, criminal justice, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or related human services field with two years direct experience working with children and families, or Bachelors degree from accredited college and three years direct experience with children and families. Must attain a passing score on basic skills Introduction to Child Protection Written Assessment. Must obtain Florida Child Welfare Professional certification, and maintain appropriate certifications while employed as a Care Manager. A valid driver's license, dependable vehicle and appropriate insurance coverage are required to perform assigned duties: to make on-site home visits to assess client risk; to transport clients to and from appointments and other authorized activities; and to attend meetings, conferences, and training or to conduct other official business in this description. _____________________________
