Duties Will be responsible for the care and safety of our guests in the Daycare and Boarding areas. Your primary focus will be on managing dogs and cats while maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. A strong customer service orientation is essential, as you will need to address customer needs in accordance with company policies, manage challenging situations with empathy, and build trust with clients. Effective communication with pet owners about their animals is crucial to fostering long-term relationships. You will also be expected to resolve conflicts diplomatically, collaborate with team members across departments, and perform additional tasks as required. It is vital to treat each guest with respect, ensuring they receive adequate food and water while keeping their feeding areas clean. Regularly cleaning up after pets, supervising their activities, and engaging them in play are key responsibilities. You will monitor interactions among dogs to prevent conflicts, maintain a sanitary environment through proper cleaning protocols, and track each guest's health and behavior. Adhering to safety standards, especially with challenging pets, is critical, and you must pay close attention to any special handling instructions. Training dog from level 1 to 3 Any new behavior in dog or repo to lead trainer Experience Previous experience in kennel work, veterinary settings, or as a veterinary technician is preferred. On call for emergency our animal in care Familiarity with animal handling, restraint techniques, and general pet care practices is essential. Experience in case management or social services is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. A genuine passion for animal welfare and advocacy is crucial for success in this role.
