We are proud to serve veterans and individuals with neurological conditions.

Position Summary:

The Life Skills Coach (LSC) is a community-based position working directly with veterans and individuals who have sustained a brain injury or spinal cord injury. The LSC provides functional, real-world support to help clients increase independence, build confidence, and improve their participation in meaningful daily and community activities. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, resourceful, and enjoys empowering others to reach their goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

Work 1:1 with veterans to develop and improve daily living, social, and community participation skills. Support clients in accessing community resources, managing appointments, budgeting, and transportation. Provide hands-on coaching to help clients gain confidence and independence in their routines. Serve as an advocate and support system to help clients achieve individualized goals. Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and family members as part of an interdisciplinary team. Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services provided.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required) CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS/ALS) certification (required) Bachelor's degree in a related field (rehabilitation, psychology, human services, social work, or similar) preferred but not required Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to clients' needs
