Our team operates in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment where performance and precision matter. We are seeking an experienced case manager to play a critical role in evaluating and strengthening our portfolio.
Position Overview:
The Case Manager is responsible for analyzing new and existing cases to determine viability, risk, and value. This role requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to make timely, self-motivated, well-supported decisions that directly impact case outcomes and the company's performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Review new case intakes, medical records, police reports, and insurance documentation Evaluate liability, damages, and coverage to determine case viability Assign preliminary and ongoing case value ranges based on treatment, billing, and exposure Identify missing information, red flags, and risk factors early in the case lifecycle Provide clear recommendations on case direction, including escalation, additional development, or closure Reassess case value as treatment progresses and new information becomes available Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all underwriting decisions
Performance Expectations:
Consistently manage and review a high volume of cases Deliver timely, accurate, and defensible evaluations Support improved case quality and stronger outcomes Contribute to efficient case selection and resource allocation
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in personal injury law Strong understanding of liability, insurance coverage, and medical treatment in personal injury cases Experience reviewing medical records and billing documentation Excellent analytical and decision-making skills Strong attention to detail and organizational ability Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams Proficiency in case management systems
