For over 45 years, we've been at the forefront of creating tailored solutions for those in crisis, offering a continuum of care that includes emergency shelters, housing programs, health services, employment assistance, and outreach. In this role, you will play a key role in a client's journey toward independence by providing a warm and welcoming environment of Ho'okipa (Hospitality) for our clients at our emergency shelters. We are looking for someone who wants to share their cooking skills and aloha with our homeless guests and neighbors! Essential Functions Responsible for facilitating the safety and welfare of IHS guests and volunteers. Communicate and assist available resources to IHS guests and offer the gift of hope. Ensure the sites are free of hazards; uphold policies, and provide supportive assistance for all guests while treating them with respect and dignity. Document daily, supervise in-house and community volunteers and provide support to the clinical programs when needed. Compensation Starts at $17.00 per hour; actual pay commensurate with experience Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of CPR, and CPI
