Social Services Analyst 1-WAE-EC

•This position is located in Baton Rouge, LA•Office of Early Childhood Operations Job Focus Area This Social Services Analyst role primarily focuses on determining and maintaining eligibility for the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP). This involves assessing eligibility, case management, family support/communication, and collaborative teamwork. Candidates with the following experience are encouraged to apply: Experience in eligibility determination or case management. Three years of experience in social services; OR Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR A bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION

Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Duties:

Gather and analyze information to determine if families are eligible for CCAP, both initially and on an ongoing basis. Understanding and consistent application of complex federal, state, and agency policies Accurately and efficiently processing all case activities by required deadlines

Appointment Type:

This is a part-time position and is not eligible for benefits or paid holidays, and has a limit to the number of hours worked ( maximum of 1245 hours ) in a 12 month period, beginning with the first day of employment. The hours belong to the employee and any available hours follow the employee.

Compensation:

The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience. •Note regarding the advertised pay range: The maximum amounts listed are the maximum salary amounts a person can make over their career and not the maximum amount we are allowed to pay a new hire .
