Job Description
The Lake Charles regional office is seeking a Direct Service Worker to work with individuals in the Lake Charles and Surrounding areas with daily living tasks. Services will be rendered in the client's home and in the community. This position requires a high school diploma/GED/trade school diploma and a minimum of 18 years of age along with a sincere interest in working with and helping individuals reach their maximum potential. This position requires an individual with good reading and writing skills along with the qualities of patience, empathy, dependability, and the ability to teach others. The ability to handle multiple responsibilities with accuracy and the ability to accept direction from supervisor required. Applicant must have a valid form of identification, driver's license, and reliable transportation. EOE.
