The organization acts as a central source for information & referral, as an advocate, collaborator, & catalyst, as a coordinator of services & care, as an educator, & as a provider of direct services.

The Protective Services Worker is responsible for crisis intervention, advocacy, & management of service delivery to resolve the crisis issues & protect the safety & security needs of the elderly within the parameters of the program. Monday- Friday, 9a-5p, 34 hours per week plus unpaid one hour lunch each day. \$37.36 per hour. What do you need to be considered for this position? Ability to collaborate, take initiative, provide/receive feedback. Ability to communicate, build rapport & work with the elderly & community resources Ability to work independently & professionally. Excellent computer skills required. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Valid MA driver?s license & car required A Master\'s degree from an accredited school in social work, psychology, counseling, human development, nursing, or gerontology plus at least 1 year of experience in counseling or case management preferably in a PS or crisis intervention capacity OR a Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited school (in above listed fields) plus at least 2 years\' experience. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk & working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Valid MA driver?s license, & car required to travel daily throughout the service area, training & meetings. Occasional off-Cape travel.
