The Case Manager will build strong relationships with residents, help families identify needs and goals, connect them with services and resources, and assist them in navigating systems related to education, employment, health care, benefits, childcare, housing stability, and other needs. The Case Manager will also organize activities and workshops that strengthen families and build a sense of community. This position is about more than making referrals. We are looking for someone who enjoys working directly with people, solving problems, advocating for families, and helping residents access opportunities that can improve their lives. The Case Manager will also help connect Barclay Place residents to the broader Paterson community and support NJCDC community activities and outreach, particularly through our Neighborhood Help Center.

Qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree and at least one year of case management or related experience Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively with families from diverse backgrounds Ability to develop strong relationships with community organizations and service providers Comfort with case documentation and computer-based data systems Ability to pass required background and child-abuse record checks This is a full-time position offering an opportunity to make a meaningful, hands-on difference in the lives of Paterson families while being part of NJCDC's broader work to strengthen neighborhoods and create opportunities for children and families.
