New Mexico Reentry Center (NMRC) is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Lead Case Manager to join our Santa Fe team. NMRC is a peer-driven nonprofit organization providing reentry, recovery, housing, employment, and case management services to individuals impacted by the criminal justice system. We are looking for someone who believes in second chances and can provide strong leadership while supporting individuals as they work toward stability and independence.

Full-Time Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct case management services to justice-impacted individuals Complete client intakes, needs assessments, and individualized service plans Maintain an active caseload and ensure consistent client follow-up Assist clients with housing, employment, identification, benefits, treatment, transportation, and other reentry needs Coordinate referrals and services with probation/parole, treatment providers, housing programs, employers, and community partners Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client documentation and case notes Use and understand the Unite Us system for referrals, care coordination, and tracking client services Use TherapyNotes for client documentation, case notes, service tracking, and maintaining accurate client records Ensure documentation is completed accurately and within required timelines Provide guidance and support to case management and peer-support staff Help ensure program requirements, documentation standards, and service goals are being met Participate in outreach, community partnerships, and reentry planning Support clients using a trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based approach
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in case management, behavioral health, reentry, recovery, social services, or a related field CPSW, CHW, CCSS, or related credential preferred Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Experience with Unite Us and TherapyNotes preferred, or the ability to quickly learn both systems Strong computer, documentation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain accurate and confidential client records Ability to work effectively with justice-impacted individuals and community partners Lived experience with recovery or the justice system is valued and welcomed Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can lead with compassion while also providing structure and accountability.
