Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) / Case Manager Reno, NV Job Details Full-time $27 - $30 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Working with individuals with developmental disabilities Working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders Sociology Driver's License Bachelor's degree Case management Care plan development Human Services Social Work Full Job Description Job Summary Hope Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) / Case Manager to help coordinate and oversee services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position plays an important role in supporting person-centered planning, monitoring service quality, guiding staff, and helping ensure individuals receive safe, appropriate, and meaningful services in residential settings. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and will be comfortable balancing service coordination, documentation, communication, compliance, and team support responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Service Plans (ISPs) in coordination with service coordinators, interdisciplinary team members, and other involved supports Ensure services are provided in accordance with HCBS Waiver requirements, Nevada regulations, and company policies Provide oversight and support to residential homes serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Supervise, guide, and support House Managers, House Managers in Training, and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) Coordinate with families, guardians, medical providers, service coordinators, and community partners to support continuity of care Review documentation, monitor service delivery, and help ensure program compliance and quality assurance standards are met Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, service plan reviews, and other care coordination activities Support habilitation goals and services that promote independence, dignity, choice, and community integration Assist with identifying concerns, following up on service issues, and helping maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients Complete required documentation, reports, and follow-up tasks accurately and on time Minimum Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must: Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in a Human Services field from an accredited college or university, such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or a related field Have at least one year of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Demonstrate knowledge of person-centered planning, service coordination, and documentation requirements Have strong written and verbal communication skills Be organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities Be able to work both independently and as part of a team Be able to pass a background check Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications Experience working in residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities Previous supervisory, lead staff, or program oversight experience Experience with HCBS Waiver services, audits, compliance monitoring, or quality assurance Familiarity with interdisciplinary team coordination and external service partnerships Why Join Hope Healthcare Services Hope Healthcare Services provides Supported Living Arrangement (SLA) services designed to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible while receiving the support they need.
