Job Description

Glendale Nursing Home is accepting applications for a Part Time Caseworker to work approximately 15 hours per week. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to start a career in a beautiful, home-like facility. As a County employee, you would be eligible for NY State Retirement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A. Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered four year college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, Sociology, Behavioral Health or Education; OR B. Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered four year college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in any field and one year of social casework experience in a social agency adhering to casework principles and practices. Social Casework experience does not include experience gained as: 1. An income maintenance, medical assistance, or food stamp examiner; 2. Experience which is custodial in nature and/or which involves providing direct personal care to clients such as nursing, nurses' aides, home health aides or similar experience.
Pay:
$31.86 per hour
