(ECCM), a progressive and growing non-profit agency with excellent benefits and competitive salaries, is seeking talented professionals for the following division: Coordinated Entry Division The Coordinated Entry Specialist plays a crucial role in the Erie community's efforts to address homelessness and provide efficient and equitable access to housing and supportive services. This position is responsible for managing the Coordinated Entry System (CES) and ensuring that homeless individuals and families have streamlined access to the appropriate housing resources and supportive services. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, compassionate, and capable of managing complex data systems while maintaining a strong focus on the needs of vulnerable populations.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Develop, maintain, and update the Coordinated Entry System database and software tools to ensure efficient and accurate data collection. Implement and enforce standardized assessment tools and procedures for clients seeking housing and supportive services. Conduct client assessments to identify their housing and service needs. Build rapport and maintain respectful, non-discriminatory interactions with homeless individuals and families. Provide referrals to appropriate housing programs and supportive services based on assessment results. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client assessments and referrals. Collaborate with local agencies to collect and share data for system-wide evaluation. Work closely with local service providers, shelters, and housing agencies to coordinate services and streamline referrals. Foster a collaborative approach to homelessness response within the Erie community.
Qualifications:
Experience working with homeless populations, individuals with disabilities, or vulnerable communities. Proficiency in database management and data analysis tools. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Knowledge of local housing programs, services, and resources. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field preferred.
