Full Job Description Case Manager Salary:
$38,000 - $40,000
Location:
85% Remote (with two office days per month)
Job Summary:
Accompanied by God's Love, a faith-based foster care and adoption agency, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Foster Care and Adoption Case Manager . This role ensures the well-being of children in foster care, guides adoptive families, and coordinates service delivery. The ideal candidate will bring creativity and innovation to strengthen staff development and support family recruitment and service delivery.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Health or Human Services field. 2 years' experience in foster care services or working with at-risk children. Must be 21 , hold a valid driver's license, and provide proof of auto insurance, registration, and inspection. Must successfully pass background screenings and submit to pre-employment and random drug testing. Must have experience working with the child welfare system.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate services for children in foster care, including medical, therapeutic, and developmental support. Develop and maintain individualized service plans that address each child's unique needs. Guide prospective adoptive families through the adoption process, ensuring compliance with legal and agency requirements. Conduct home visits and in-person meetings, with four office days per month, and attend court hearings and team meetings as required. Manage client documentation, ensuring that records are maintained accurately and in accordance with agency policies. Perform additional duties as needed to support the agency's mission and operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in foster care or adoption case management. Strong knowledge of child welfare policies, trauma-informed care, and behavioral management techniques. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Strong writing and speaking skills are required. Excellent communication, organizational, and advocacy skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setting and attend in-office and court-related activities as required. Proficiency in case management systems and software.
