Our initial core training is conducted in person Monday through Friday for two weeks in Olympia, WA. The company will provide hotel accommodations during the in-person training for those who do not want to commute.
Responsibilities:
As a Case Manager Assistant, you will be working closely with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors to assist industrially injured workers in their medical and vocational recovery.Primary duties include:
Meeting with all stakeholders to assist in the process of helping workers heal, recover and return to work to include workers, attorneys, employers, doctors and treating care teams Educate parties on the workers' compensation process Identify job accommodations and modifications to assist workers back to the workforce Develop job analyses Complete labor market research Develop vocational training plans Develop resumes and assist with job search activities Writing reports, letters and professional correspondence Abiding by professional standards and ethical codes Providing superior customer services to all parties Resolving conflicts and problem solvingQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Communications or related field Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks independently, paired with a desire to learn through long-term mentorship and active team participation Ability to satisfy a background check for state and federal agencies Valid driver's license and insurance Willingness to drive throughout a three-county service area to meet with clients and stakeholders Superior customer service skills Ability to type 50+ WPM Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Windows, and the ability to quickly learn a new software program A desire to help people A positive can-do attitude! •We are a small growing team of career professionals.
