Foster Home Licensing Contractor Schedule:
Hybrid position with a flexible schedule of approximately 10-20 hours per week.
Compensation:
$40.00 per hour Position Summary The Foster Care Licensing Contractor works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the families being served by the National Youth Advocate Program by working closely with the youth and family to provide advocacy and support towards targeted goals. •Candidate must hold an active SAFE certification in the state of Wisconsin and reside within approximately 30 minutes of Kenosha, Wisconsin.•Responsibilities Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Programs Mission, Values and Philosophies. Interview prospective foster parents and complete SAFE Home Study assessments. Maintain confidentiality of client's and agency information. Maintain professional boundaries, conduct and confidentiality and other governmental laws and regulations, agency policy and licensure ethics. Able to effectively meet deadlines. Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team. Contractor responsibilities vary and are outlined in a signed agreement between the independent contractor and NYAP. Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Programs mission, values, and philosophies. Minimum Qualifications Master 's degree in Social Work or similar field from an accredited college or university SAFE Home Study certification required in the state of Wisconsin. IMPACT Trained required 2 years of work experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred. Knowledgeable of foster care rules and the services provided by the National Youth Advocate Program. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record . 100,000/300,000 Bodily Injury required for car insurance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
