Position Summary The Social Security Disability Case Manager is responsible for managing disability claims that are waiting on a hearing to be scheduled. This role involves regular client communication, accurate case tracking, updating medications and doctor visits, and working up scheduled hearings in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Client Communication
- Conduct scheduled client contact every 28 days.
- Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, explaining processes and next steps. Case Tracking & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records by adding and editing medications, doctor visits, and employment status in the case management system. Hearing Work-Up
- Review cases for newly scheduled hearings and work up hearing files to ensure all required documentation is complete.
- Prepare hearing paperwork and required SSA forms. Communication & Collaboration
- Coordinate with attorneys, management and team leads to address case needs and hearing readiness.
- Ensure compliance with SSA regulations, internal procedures, and confidentiality requirements. Qualifications Required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Core Competencies

A clean background check is required prior to being hired. Training will be held in person. Once training is complete and the employee is meeting goals, working fully remote may be an option.
