Job Description

We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and accountable Legal Case Manager to join a busy, high-volume pre-suit legal team in Southfield. This position is responsible for maintaining regular client communication, managing case information and documentation, tracking outstanding items, and helping move cases efficiently through the pre-suit process.

$50,000-$55,000 per year

Full-Time, Direct Hire Candidates with strong experience managing a high volume of clients, claims, accounts, files, or medical matters are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Manage a high volume of active client cases and competing priorities. Complete new-client onboarding and maintain accurate electronic case files. Contact newly assigned clients and coordinate initial attorney meetings within required timelines. Maintain frequent communication with clients, including regular live phone conversations. Request, track, and organize medical records, bills, reports, and other case documentation. Monitor case progress and follow up on missing information and outstanding tasks. Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurers, adjusters, and other third parties. Maintain accurate case notes, deadlines, documents, and client-contact records. Use case-management and AI-enabled legal software to organize information and assist with case preparation. Meet established deadlines and measurable performance expectations. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred. Law-firm, personal injury, or pre-suit experience preferred but not required . Experience working in a high-volume, client-facing environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable with frequent client communication by phone. Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Comfortable working in a KPI-driven environment. Willing and able to learn case-management and AI-enabled software. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Work Location This position is initially 100% in-office in Southfield . After the first 90 days, 1-2 work-from-home days per week may be considered based on consistently meeting KPIs, demonstrated performance, and team approval. Hybrid work is not guaranteed.
