Job Description

Are you passionate about early intervention and helping preschool-aged children and their families thrive? Volunteer Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated, empathetic, and organized professional to join our team as a Regional Intervention Program (RIP) Case Manager / Program Interventionist .In this vital role, you will work directly with young children and their caregivers, implementing evidence-based strategies, coordinating comprehensive care, and empowering families to build a foundation for lifelong success. Key Responsibilities Direct Client Care & Family Support Manage caseloads for assigned families, delivering individualized support and guidance. Conduct intake interviews with incoming families to evaluate needs and program fit. Work face-to-face with children and families to ensure treatment objectives are met. Draft and maintain accurate, individualized evaluations and treatment summaries. Coordination & Liaison Services Act as the primary liaison between families, service providers, and childcare/school intervention teams. Collaborate closely with the internal treatment team to review client plans and progress. Coordinate directly with the State Technical Assistance Coordinator to align with program standards. Engage in community outreach and information activities to raise awareness of RIP services. Program Operations & Data Management Develop and implement age-appropriate treatment activities alongside RIP staff. Supervise and execute precise data collection and behavioral analysis. Oversee data submission and record-keeping operations in the absence of the Program Coordinator. Job Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree required (Master's Degree preferred) in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, Child Development, or a closely related behavioral health field. Minimum of 2 years of experience actively working with preschool-aged children and/or their families. Previous training and supervisory experience is helpful but not required. Training Requirements Must successfully complete 24 days of comprehensive Pre-Service training at the RIP Nashville facility prior to commencing local program operations. (

Training logistics and exact requirements will be reviewed alongside state technical assistance staff). Essential Skills Deep empathy and a strong understanding of early childhood development and family dynamics. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary, team-oriented treatment environment. Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of maintaining accurate electronic records and data documentation.
