Job Description

FAYS Case Manager-Part-Time (24-28 hours per week)
Location:
Eagle Pass, TX. The Family and Youth Success (FAYS) Program addresses family conflict and everyday struggles while promoting strong families and youth resilience. The program provides services to families with children 6-17 and their caregivers, who may be experiencing conflict at home, school, or in other areas affecting family well-being. Work Schedule The schedule for this position will be Tuesday-Thursday 8:30 am to 5:30 p.m.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide assertive case management to meet the identified needs of clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Scheduling and coordinating appointments. Assisting participants in accessing community resources. Supporting clients and caregivers in achieving program goals. Maintaining accurate and timely client records. Performing data entry.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with families. Strong organizational and communication skills. Resourceful problem-solver who takes initiative Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Proficient in basic computer applications and electronic record systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
An associate degree in human services, social work, psychology or related field, bachelor's degree preferred. At least one year of experience working with families preferred. Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) is required. Reliable transportation, proof of insurance and a valid driver's license are required. Ability to work flexible evening hours as needed.
