Experienced Personal Injury Case Manager Aqrawi & Associates Law Firm PLLC is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Case Manager to join our team. This position is intended for an experienced professional who can independently manage a substantial personal injury caseload from intake through settlement and is comfortable handling both standard motor-vehicle claims and more complex commercial-vehicle cases . The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing a caseload of approximately 60 active cases while maintaining excellent communication with clients, attorneys, medical providers, insurance carriers, and other parties. Responsibilities Independently manage a caseload of approximately 60 active personal injury cases while maintaining organization, timely follow-up, and consistent case progression. Manage personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement . Handle motor-vehicle accident claims, including commercial-vehicle and commercial insurance cases . Conduct detailed client intake and evaluate the information and documentation needed to properly develop each claim. Maintain consistent communication with clients and provide regular case updates. Coordinate and monitor clients' medical treatment and obtain medical records, bills, reports, and supporting documentation. Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters regarding claims, coverage, liability, property damage, and settlement matters. Identify applicable insurance coverage and assist with issues involving liability coverage, UM/UIM, PIP, commercial policies, and other available coverage. Handle property-damage matters and related insurance communications when necessary. Monitor case deadlines, statutes of limitation, treatment progress, outstanding records, liens, and other critical case requirements. Review medical records, bills, accident reports, insurance documents, photographs, and other evidence to ensure files are properly developed. Prepare comprehensive settlement demand packages for attorney review. Assist attorneys with settlement negotiations and case evaluation. Coordinate lien and balance information with medical providers and other lienholders. Identify potential case problems, missing evidence, coverage issues, or liability concerns and promptly escalate them to the supervising attorney. Maintain complete, accurate, and organized case files and case-management records. Prepare files for litigation transfer when a matter cannot be resolved during the pre-litigation stage. Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and other members of the firm to move cases efficiently toward resolution. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 5 years of personal injury case management experience required. Proven ability to independently and effectively manage approximately 60 active personal injury cases simultaneously . Demonstrated ability to manage personal injury cases from intake through demand and settlement. Experience handling commercial-vehicle and/or commercial insurance claims required. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Strong knowledge of the personal injury pre-litigation process. Experience communicating and negotiating with insurance adjusters. Strong understanding of medical treatment, medical records, billing, insurance coverage, and settlement documentation. Experience preparing settlement demands and organizing supporting evidence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through on assigned responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate case files. Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information. Proficiency with case-management systems, Microsoft Office, email, and other standard law-office technology. Preferred Qualifications Experience handling serious-injury and high-value personal injury claims. Experience with trucking, rideshare, delivery, company-owned vehicle, or other commercial-vehicle claims. Experience identifying multiple insurance policies and potential sources of recovery. Experience with Filevine or comparable legal case-management software . Experience working in a high-volume personal injury practice.
