Full Time/ In Office SUMMARY:

The MDT Coordinator will review and evaluate all statewide intake reports to determine if cases meet the CAC criteria for cases seen at the agency and work to coordinate a joint investigation with partner agencies

RESPONSIBILITIES

Case Management o Assist in the creation and maintenance of all client files, ensuring files are entered into the computer. o Document all information related to cases in a timely manner, keeping records organized and secured. o Ensures accurate data entry is completed on all client files and records for each service provided. o Assist with creating a monthly disposition log to assist with the disposition process. o Produce periodic reports for purposes of tracking Statewide Intake activity and outcomes. MDT Coordination / Facilitator Receive and conduct a preliminary review of Statewide Intakes on daily basis, identify reports/notifications that align with CAC case criteria. Enter client information into the data entry program. Initiate process for more in-depth review of reports/notifications that may align with CAC case criteria but in need of further assessment to determine next steps. Facilitate initiation of joint investigation and as needed, scheduling of forensic interview or other assistance to partner agencies as requested. Facilitate case review in assigned areas Ensure reports/records generated from Statewide Intake are retained, protected and/or destroyed to ensure confidentiality and compliance with CAC's records retention policies.

Family Advocacy:

Work collaboratively with the forensic interviewers to complete intake forms with families who are referred to the center Assist with providing referrals for social services/mental health services for families and ensure that steps are completed for Crime Victim's Compensation. Obtain evaluation from families on services received. Serve in the on call rotation Additional Responsibilities Assist, as needed, with greeting each child client and non-offending parent or caregiver, maintaining their comfort, and provides support to family and child(ren) throughout interview and sexual assault exam process Provide back-up for answering phones as needed by the agency. Effectively work with others in a team environment, maintain composure in high stress situations. Demonstrate professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills with clients, co- workers, and MDT members. Travel with forensic interviewers to the rural communities to provide services to clients and assist with case review as assigned. Perform any and all activities to support the mission of the organization and ensure advocacy in the communities served. May serve in the on-call rotation as determined by supervisor and agency needs

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Social Work or related field or High School Diploma with 2 years related work experience Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Must be able to work with a variety of people, including clients and their families, professionals in the areas of law enforcement, medicine, education and agency employees. Experience working with children Bending, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs. Subject to background check, including criminal and DFPS screening
