The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals and families by providing guidance, resources, and advocacy. This position requires a strong background in social work, crisis intervention, and behavioral health to effectively assist clients in navigating complex systems and achieving their goals. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized service plans. Provide crisis intervention and management to clients facing immediate challenges. Offer mentoring and support to clients, fostering personal growth and self-sufficiency. Assist clients with accessing housing resources, including Section 8 applications and eligibility. Collaborate with healthcare providers to address behavioral health issues and coordinate care. Supervise and guide support staff or interns as needed to ensure quality service delivery. Facilitate access to childcare resources for families in need. Maintain accurate case documentation and progress notes in compliance with agency policies. Advocate for clients' rights and needs within various systems, including healthcare and social services. Provide addiction counseling when necessary, supporting clients in their recovery journey. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in crisis management, social work, or related fields. Familiarity with behavioral health practices and resources. Strong mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate clients. Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs is a plus. Experience supervising staff or interns is desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
