Then Texas Family Initiative has the job for you! What We're Looking For We're hiring a full-time Permanency Case Manager to work with our community's most vulnerable children and families. You'll need an accredited Bachelor's Degree and a Valid Driver's License . We offer a 13-week comprehensive training program, including field experience, in-office learning, and classroom training with a mentor to guide you. A Day in the Life as a Permanency Case Manager As a Permanency Case Manager, you'll support families in foster care, aiming to achieve permanency for children in the Managing Conservatorship of DFPS. You'll collaborate with biological parents, helping them access services to reunify with their children. If reunification isn't possible, you'll work to find a safe, permanent family-like setting for the children. Your role includes conducting home visits, attending court hearings, and working with community stakeholders, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), and more to build lasting partnerships with families. We need strong advocates who can support parents, caregivers, and children in foster care as they work toward permanency.
