AOT Case Manager (Assisted Outpatient Treatment) Pierce County Alliance - 3.2 Tacoma, WA Job Details Full-time Up to $33.65 an hour 7 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Computer operation Computer literacy Social Sciences Bachelor's degree Case management Substance abuse Working with individuals with mental health conditions Computer skills Full Job Description Job Summary Pierce County Alliance is seeking a dedicated and compassionate case Manager to join the Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and social work, with experience in crisis intervention and management. This program is an involuntary civil commitment for persons with serious mental illness or severe substance use disorder such that they are unable or unwilling to comply with recommended treatment. This position assists the Assisted Outpatient Treatment Coordinator in representing the multi-disciplinary treatment team and client progress in Court Case Staffing meeting and hearing through the development of written reports and verbal communication. Help facilitate the ensure each participant has appropriate and individualized wrap-around services throughout their tenure in the program. Assist with editing, reviewing, and sorting all court reports. Representing client progress information in a court setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possess extensive knowledge of serious mental illness, trauma, and chemical dependency. Must be able to visually assess conditions and crisis situations and to communicate information accurately and professionally, including in court proceedings. Must be computer literate. Be familiar with law enforcement and the judicial system.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in social sciences or equivalent year for year experience. Must have three years' experience in a behavioral health treatment service delivery environment. Must pass criminal history record check through Washington State Patrol and must have no history of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of three years immediately prior to the time of employment.

Up to $33.65 per hour
