Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Community Outreach Assistant to join our growing event marketing team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, building relationships, and creating memorable community experiences. The Community Outreach Assistant will support promotional campaigns, live events, brand activations, and outreach initiatives that connect organizations with their target audiences. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and eager to develop skills in marketing, public relations, event coordination, and customer engagement. Responsibilities Assist with planning and executing community outreach campaigns, promotional events, and marketing initiatives Represent client brands at local events, community programs, and in-person activations Engage with community members, customers, and event attendees to create positive brand experiences Support event setup, coordination, registration, and breakdown activities Help increase brand awareness through face-to-face marketing and relationship building Maintain professional communication with clients, team members, and community partners Collect customer feedback and share insights to improve campaign performance Track event participation, outreach efforts, and campaign results Collaborate with marketing and event teams to meet client goals Participate in training sessions focused on marketing strategies, leadership development, and professional growth Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow Comfortable interacting with diverse groups of people Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Reliable, professional, and motivated work ethic Previous experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, retail, promotions, or events is a plus Preferred Skills Public speaking or presentation experience Experience with community programs, nonprofit events, or promotional campaigns Interest in marketing, advertising, public relations, or event management Ability to manage multiple priorities during live events What We Offer Hands-on training in event marketing and community engagement Opportunities for career advancement and leadership development Collaborative and energetic team environment Exposure to major brand campaigns and community initiatives Skill development in communication, marketing, and event coordination
