This is a hands-on role where you'll spend your days connecting with families, mentoring kids, creating activities, getting out into the neighborhood, and helping make Martin Park a place where kids feel safe, welcomed, and excited to be there. What You'll Do Build genuine relationships with kids, families, and community partners Lead fun and meaningful activities including sports, recreation, tutoring, and enrichment programs Help create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for kids Create and lead activities, programs, and special events for our kids Keep track of participation, supplies, and program information Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming park environment Transport youth when needed and in accordance with Martin Park safety policies Attend staff meetings, training, and community events Other duties as needed We're Looking For Someone Who Is… 18 years or older Someone who genuinely enjoys working with kids and families Positive, dependable, and willing to jump in when needed Comfortable leading activities and managing groups of youth A good communicator who can build relationships with all kinds of people A high school graduate, GED holder, or has at least two years of experience working with youth Able to pass a Department of Justice background check CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified Able to drive and transport youth when required, with a valid driver's license, reliable personal transportation, and a clean driving record Bilingual skills are a plus . You don't have to have every skill on the list to be successful here. We're looking for someone who shows up, cares about people, builds relationships, and wants to be part of something that makes a difference. Hourly wage is $17.00 a hour
