$24.00 to $28.00 hourly. Maximum Range is provided as an example of the Wage/salary range for each position and its earning capacity given factors such as time in position, longevity with the company, education level, and performance experience. Newly entering employees should expect to enter at the minimum level.
Job Summary:
The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for establishing relationships with community organizations and developing resources that will be beneficial to program participants. Please note that this position has a 180-day introductory period.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develops partnerships with community-based organizations, high schools, post-secondary schools, and local government agencies in the community. Attends community resource fairs, outreach events, business functions, and other local networking meetings to connect with community leaders and existing/potential partners. Plans and develops Goodwill-hosted events such as resource fairs and panels. Educates existing/potential partners on the populations served and services/programs offered by Goodwill. Conduct educational workshops related to Mission Services. Maintain effective relationships with community-based organizations and partners. Drives a company-owned mobile unit van to provide outreach activities in the community. Participates in team meetings and communicates with internal staff to provide updates on partnerships and events. Maintains all documentation on outreach efforts, relationships developed, and upcoming plans/events. Adheres to standards and outcomes as outlined in program policies/procedures, program contracts, and referral and accreditation agency standards. Create a database of community resources and partners beneficial to program delivery and services. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to speak/read/write proficient English; Bilingual skills preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office/Office 365. Must be available to work after hours and on weekends. Must be able to drive company-owned vehicles. Ability to develop and maintain relationships across different cultures. Ability to build and grow professional networks. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Works well under pressure and with deadlines; ability to multitask. Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Honesty, integrity, reliability, punctuality. Thorough knowledge about company's mission and services. Uphold compliance with all legal, health, and safety guidelines.
Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related studies preferred. At least two years' experience required in marketing, outreach, and/or community development. Valid driver license and insured/reliable vehicle. Background check. Drug test- Post offer.
Physical Requirements:
Free from drug and alcohol abuse.

Office. Off-site meeting locations. Mobile unit. Equipment, machines and tools used: Computer. Printer Copy machine. Phone.
