Your enthusiasm and dedication will help connect underserved populations to vital communication services, empowering them to stay connected and supported. Duties Engage face-to-face with community members through outdoor outreach, canvassing, and door-to-door visits to promote Lifeline services. Conduct conversations via mobile devices and telecommunication channels to inform eligible individuals about available programs. Demonstrate strong negotiation and persuasion skills to encourage enrollment and participation in Lifeline programs. Utilize community engagement experience to build trust and rapport with diverse populations in various outdoor settings. Manage outdoor work activities including walking extensively for outreach efforts, ensuring comprehensive coverage of target areas. Collect data through canvassing efforts, accurately documenting interactions and eligibility information. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate outreach strategies and maximize community impact. Requirements Proven experience in supervising or leading outreach initiatives, field sales, or canvassing campaigns. Strong background in customer service, face-to-face communication, and community engagement. Experience in outdoor work environments involving walking and door-to-door interactions. Bilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse populations. Demonstrated ability in fundraising, telemarketing, or sales roles that involve conversational engagement and negotiation. Familiarity with mobile devices for data collection and communication purposes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect authentically with individuals from various backgrounds. Prior experience in social services, community outreach, or related fields is a plus.
