Job Description

Minimum Qualification:
Prior community volunteer coordination is preferred Weekend and evening hours are required and expected regularly, and will be covered by flexing normal hour
Job Description:
The Community Response Teams (CRTs) are the community volunteer-based teams activated by the state's Overdose Response Center (ORC) to provide local-level community support, resource navigation, and naloxone training/distribution. The CRT Coordinator will coordinate activities and directly support the three county-based CRTs (New Castle, Kent, and Sussex). This includes planning, approving, and implementing appropriate community activities/events. This individual is responsible to form and maintain strong relationships within and between the CRT members, community partners, individuals in the community, and the ORC. The goal of Delaware's Community Response Teams is to provide a ready team of volunteers to hold and staff events to support the state's response to the overdose epidemic, including training on and distributing naloxone (Narcan®) kits. This position reports to the Community Response Branch Manager within the
ORC Pay:
Up to $28.00 per hour
Experience:
coordinating community volunteers: 2 years (Required) substance-use, overdose prevention, behavioral health: 1 year (Required)
