Our multidisciplinary team offers a wide range of treatment services—from residential recovery programs, medication management and outpatient therapy —all within a holistic, supportive, stigma-free environment. We are seeking a creative and mission-driven Outreach Coordinator to help us share our story, connect with communities, and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and addiction. About the
Role:
As our Outreach Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice of our organization in our community and beyond. You'll create thoughtful, trauma-informed, and educational content that raises awareness, promotes our services, supports advocacy efforts, and encourages people to seek help. You'll work closely with clinical teams, admissions, and leadership to ensure messaging is ethical, accurate, and deeply empathetic.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with our mission and treatment philosophy. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective referral sources throughout the Palm Beaches and surrounding metropolitan areas Leverage established professional relationships within the behavioral health, substance abuse, healthcare, and community services sectors Conduct regular in-person visits with referral sources and community partners Build relationships with hospitals, detox and residential treatment programs, therapists, psychiatrists, physicians, private practices, case managers, social workers, EAPs, attorneys, community organizations, and other appropriate referral partners Introduce referral sources to our residential, outpatient programs, services, admission process, and treatment philosophy Identify and pursue new referral opportunities Represent our organization at networking events, professional meetings, conferences, community events, and other outreach opportunities Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with referral partners Collaborate closely with Admissions and Clinical leadership to ensure a smooth referral experience Track outreach activity, referral relationships, and results Monitor the local behavioral health market and identify opportunities for growth Provide leadership with feedback regarding referral trends, community needs, competitors, and potential partnerships. Create and manage engaging, stigma-sensitive content across platforms. Highlight success stories (with consent), staff spotlights, community events, awareness campaigns (e.g., Mental Health Awareness Month, Recovery Month), and new service offerings. Attend marketing events and opportunities (conferences, alumni events, etc.). Ensure all content complies with
HIPAA, 42 CFR
Part 2, and ethical standards for discussing mental health and addiction. Monitor, moderate, and respond to comments/messages with care, providing resources or referrals when appropriate. Oversee digital advertising campaigns targeting individuals and families in need of support. Track performance metrics, adjust strategy based on analytics, and report outcomes to leadership. Stay current on trends in behavioral health, addiction treatment, and digital communication.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Behavioral Health, or related field. 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in behavioral health or treatment-focused healthcare settings. Deep understanding of mental health and substance use topics, including trauma-informed language and anti-stigma communication. Excellent storytelling, copywriting, and visual content creation skills. Proficiency with platforms like Meta Business Suite, Canva, Google Analytics or similar tools. Experience managing paid campaigns on social media and Google Ads is a plus. Comfortable working collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff. Knowledge of
HIPAA, 42 CFR
