Job Description
Job Overview As an Americorps Member, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the Macon-Bibb area . This position offers a unique chance to engage in various projects aimed at addressing critical community needs at a community organization in Macon-Bibb. Duties
- Support and Engage in community examples: Initiatives, Outreach, Patient Benefits/Resource Navigation, Food Pantry Distribution, Data Collection
- Participate in community service projects focused on areas such as education, public health, and more
- Collaborate with local organizations to develop and implement service initiatives
- Engage in volunteer activities to support underserved populations
- Contribute to building sustainable solutions for community challenges
Skills Required:
- High School Diploma
- Age 18 and up
- U.S Citizen
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to diverse project requirements
- Commitment to community service and making a positive impact
Nice-to-have:
- Previous volunteer or service experience
