Do you enjoy meeting people, supporting local businesses, and being involved in your community? The Covington County Chamber of Commerce is looking for a dependable, organized, and community-minded person to serve as our Chamber Coordinator. This part-time position will help manage the day-to-day Chamber office while working with local businesses, Chamber members, community organizations, volunteers, and the Board of Directors.
Responsibilities include:
Working with Chamber members and local businesses Coordinating Chamber events and programs Assisting with the annual Okatoma Festival & other events Membership communications and outreach Social media, website updates, and other communications Office administration and record keeping Supporting tourism and community development efforts Representing the Chamber at community events and meetings We're looking for someone who is f riendly, organized, self-motivated, a good communicator, and comfortable working independently. Experience in business, office administration, marketing, communications, event planning, tourism, nonprofit organizations, or community development is a plus.
