This individual will help members discover meaningful ways to live out their faith through service while providing the coordination and support that bring outreach programs, mission opportunities, volunteer engagement, and ministry partnerships to life.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Outreach Coordinator supports the planning and execution of outreach ministries by coordinating volunteers, partner relationships, mission experiences, and engagement opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
:
  • Recruit, equip, and support volunteers and lay leaders.
  • Cultivate relationships with outreach partners and support grants, funding, and evaluation processes.
  • Serve as a resource to the Outreach Council and Outreach Funding Team.
  • Coordinate outreach events, meetings, and engagement opportunities, including registrations, communications, and follow-up.
  • Provide logistical support for local and global outreach initiatives, including occasional international travel.
  • Collaborate on volunteer communications, publications, website content, and promotional materials.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 3+ years of related experience; committed follower of Christ with evidence of personal discipleship.
SCHEDULE
Work hours are typically Monday through Friday; however, outreach ministry opportunities, special events, and mission experiences may occasionally require evening, weekend, or international travel commitments.
