This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop and implement outreach programs that promote health, education, and social well-being. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and committed to making a positive impact by working closely with underserved communities, youth programs, and local organizations. Your role will be pivotal in expanding our reach, enhancing program visibility, and ensuring the success of our community-driven efforts. Responsibilities Develop, plan, and execute outreach strategies to engage target populations effectively across various platforms, including social media and community events. Manage volunteer programs by recruiting, training, supervising, and recognizing volunteers to support outreach activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, schools, healthcare providers, and local organizations to foster collaboration. Conduct public speaking engagements at community events, workshops, and seminars to promote program awareness and participation. Oversee data collection efforts to monitor program impact, track engagement metrics, and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders. Coordinate youth programs by designing educational activities, teaching sessions, and support services tailored to underserved youth populations. Lead project management efforts for multiple outreach initiatives simultaneously while ensuring timely execution and resource allocation. Utilize marketing skills to create compelling content for social media management campaigns that increase visibility and engagement. Implement program development plans that incorporate feedback from community members to improve service delivery. Maintain administrative records related to volunteer hours, event participation, fundraising activities, and program outcomes. Experience Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams within community or social service settings. Strong public speaking skills with experience delivering presentations or workshops to diverse audiences. Background in program development related to public health, addiction counseling, or social work is highly desirable. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to organize multiple initiatives efficiently. Knowledge of marketing strategies and social media management tools for outreach purposes. Experience in data collection methods and reporting tools for tracking program effectiveness. Familiarity with youth programming or working directly with underserved communities is preferred. Technical proficiency in office software applications along with excellent organizational skills. Ability to recruit volunteers or staff members effectively while maintaining a positive team environment. Experience in fundraising activities or grant writing is a plus but not required.
