Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Director of Community Outreach to lead our organization's efforts in building meaningful relationships within the community. Duties Develop comprehensive community outreach programs that align with organizational goals, focusing on health, social services, and community development. Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of outreach coordinators, volunteers, and partner organizations to ensure effective program delivery. Cultivate strong relationships with community leaders, local agencies, schools, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to expand outreach efforts. Plan and execute public speaking engagements, workshops, and informational sessions to raise awareness about available services and resources. Manage social media platforms and marketing campaigns to promote events, initiatives, and organizational achievements. Collect and analyze data related to outreach activities to measure impact, identify areas for improvement, and report findings to senior leadership. Oversee fundraising efforts by coordinating grant applications, donor engagement, and special events to support program sustainability. Requirements Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams within community or social service settings. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently. Demonstrated success in program development, project management, and strategic planning. Knowledge of social media management tools and marketing strategies for community engagement. Experience in data collection methods related to program evaluation and reporting. Background in public health, social work, addiction counseling or related fields is highly desirable. Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to recruit, train, motivate, and retain staff and volunteers. Administrative experience including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
