The primary responsibility of the Forensic Interviewer/Community Outreach Coordinator is to provide developmentally and culturally appropriate and legally defensible forensic interviews of children and adolescents involved in cases of alleged abuse, as well as represent

through community outreach as requested by the Executive Director. In supporting the Center's mission, the Forensic Interviewer conducts forensic interviews of victims of child sexual abuse and assault, as well as other crimes and exposure to violence. The Forensic Interviewer works collaboratively with H.A.V.E.N.'s multidisciplinary team member and facilitate pre/post-interview multidisciplinary case staffing, as necessary. H.A.V.E.N.'s forensic interviewers are expected to perform their job duties and act in a manner consistent with the mission of the organization and

Duties & Responsibilities:

FORENSIC INTERVIEW SERVICE COORDINATION

a. Conduct forensic interviews of children and adolescents involved in cases of alleged abuse per established protocol and provide summaries of conducted interviews. b. Obtain information regarding allegations in conjunction with investigators. c. Ensure the psychosocial well-being of the child through the interview process. d. Educate team members regarding the forensic interview process and abuse dynamics. e. Participate in Multidisciplinary Team case review and present cases when requested. f. Respond to subpoenas and participate in court proceeding, as required. a. Participate in supervision, peer review, professional development, and on-going training. b. Be available for on-call when scheduled. c. Attend and participate in supervision, peer review, and other professional development activities, such as webinars, education calls and literature review, that are relevant to forensic interviewing. d. Perform other duties as assigned.

COMMUNITY AND PUBLIC RELATIONS

a. Represent

H.A.V.E.N.

as requested by the Executive Director. Promote a positive image of

H.A.V.E.N.

as well as the agencies and professionals who use the center. b. Serve as a spokesperson of H.A.V.E.N. and ensure that appropriate social media methods of communication are utilized.
