Lake Erie Crushers - Off-Season Mascot Stomper | Part-Time / Seasonal Lake Erie Crushers | Avon, Ohio The Lake Erie Crushers are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, and dependable individual to serve as Stomper, the official team mascot, during the offseason. This role is focused on representing the Crushers throughout the community, attending public appearances, and helping grow the organization's youth outreach initiatives — including the Crushers Reading Program. Responsibilities Perform as Stomper at community events, schools, libraries, fundraisers, festivals, and other public appearances. Participate in the Lake Erie Crushers Reading Program, including school and library visits. Interact with children, families, fans, community members, and event attendees in a fun and positive manner. Assist with promoting the Crushers brand and upcoming events throughout the offseason. Take photos, interact with fans, and create memorable experiences at appearances. Represent the Lake Erie Crushers in a professional and positive manner at all times. Work with the front office to coordinate appearances, schedules, and event needs. Assist with occasional team, sponsor, or community initiatives as needed. Maintain the energy and personality of Stomper while performing for a variety of audiences. What We're Looking For Outgoing, energetic, and personable personality. Comfortable interacting with children and large groups. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable and professional. Ability to stay in character while wearing a mascot costume. Comfortable performing, dancing, posing for photos, and interacting with fans. Previous mascot, sports, entertainment, education, or community outreach experience is a plus, but not required. Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekdays, evenings, and occasional weekends. Schedule This is a part-time offseason position with the potential for additional appearances throughout the year. Availability will vary based on the Crushers' community appearance schedule. School and reading program appearances will primarily take place during weekday hours, with additional community events occurring throughout the week and on weekends.
