Job Description
The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for promoting the credit union and supporting the Director of Member Experience with marketing tasks. This individual must be social and highly motivated to build business within the community and always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. This individual's main responsibilities are to create opportunities for new member relationships, SEG relationships, as well as relationships with charitable organizations. The Community Outreach Coordinator is the public-facing brand ambassador for the Credit Union. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Supports business development initiatives, including fostering relationships with Select Employer Groups (SEGs), coordination of SEG employee enrollment meetings, along with building relationships with businesses within the community, with a strong focus on membership growth.
- Coordinates with Branch Managers and local businesses to support business development, strengthen relationships with SEGs, organize employee enrollment meetings, and cultivate partnerships with businesses throughout the community to drive membership growth
- Establishes and maintains a visible presence in the local and sponsor community through participation in events. This includes, but not limited to, participation in business, community, and charitable organizations and activities (after hours as needed). Recruits volunteers as necessary
- Promotes all products and services with cross-servicing to meet members or SEG needs
- Conducts educational classes/workshops to SEGs and community groups
- Creates and curate content for all social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn). Collaborates with third-party vendors as needed
- Prepares monthly reports for Director of Member Experience
- Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of all compliance and regulatory requirements with respect to marketing, advertising, collateral, website, and social media
- Collaborates with Director of Member Experience to create content for organizational promotions and messaging, and manages start and stop deadlines for campaigns
- Provides support to Director of Member Experience for internal and external marketing initiatives, charity/collection drives, and other promotions as needed
- Ability to communicate ideas effectively and efficiently

Director of Member Experience, COO, or CEO Qualifications Experience Required:
2 years' experience in marketing, sales, communications, or public relations, or an equivalent of education and/or experience in the credit union industryEducation Required:
High school diploma or equivalentPreferred:
Associate degree or higher in Public Relations, Marketing, or Communications Required Skills- Public Speaking
