WCPL makes patrons our top priority by offering unparalleled service. Our goal is to assist patrons in any way we can in their pursuit of enrichment. The WCPL Outreach Community Coordinator reports directly to the Outreach & Public Services Manager, and works directly with our Outreach Agents. The OCC creates and gives presentations at Speakers Bureau programs. They also research, identify, and propose new services for Outreach and/or ways of improving existing services. They coordinate and attend Outreach (including offsite) visits, and organize staff to attend events as needed. The OCC also provides customer service to patrons and potential patrons throughout Centerville and Washington Township and surrounding areas. They also serve as point-person for general questions about Outreach Services, training staff as necessary. They drive the library van as assigned or needed. Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience Two years of public relations/marketing or development experience Strong customer service skills with three years of experience serving the public Excellent written and verbal communication and detail skills Demonstrated conflict management skills providing win-win resolutions Demonstrated ability to contribute in a team environment Self motivated, organized, efficient, and productive with excellent time management skills Multi-tasking

  • handle a broad range of tasks and planning duties Experience with desktop publishing, web, MS Teams and MS Office software Prior experience in problem solving and project management Valid standard driver's license for driving the Library's Outreach van Benefits of Employment All employees have access to the following: Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS)

  • 80% WCPL paid premiums for single coverage $15,000 paid Life/AD&D policy Long Term Disability (employee paid) Vacation Leave
  • 1•5 weeks based on years of service Sick Leave•15 days per year, maximum of 480 hours 8 paid holidays and 3 floating holidays Bereavement Leave All offers of employment will be contingent upon the candidate successfully completing a Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI) fingerprint check .
