Job description Event logistics:

Supports on-site logistics for the 12 community workshops and 6 wellness-fair and tabling events, including setup and breakdown.

Participant support:

Assists with participant registration and sign-in, and helps collect attendance and demographic information for reporting.

Materials distribution:

Distributes multilingual educational materials in Dari, Pashto, and English (and Urdu and Arabic where applicable) at events and to partner venues.

Venue coordination:

Helps coordinate event setup with Community Centers.

Administrative support:

Provides administrative support to the Substance Use Navigator for referral tracking and participant follow-up. 2.

Requirements Community connection:

Familiarity with the Afghan, Pakistani, and broader South and Central Asian communities served by ORCD Global in Sacramento County.

Language:

Proficiency in Dari and/or Pashto in addition to English strongly preferred.

Reliability:

Comfortable with hands-on event support and occasional weekend or evening event hours. 3. Job duration 12 months grant-funded and contingent on continued SOR IV funding with possibility of extension. 4. Required travel 10% to 15%, local travel within Sacramento County to event and partner venues. 5. Minimum education High school diploma or equivalent. 6. Minimum experience 1 or more years of community outreach, volunteer coordination, or related community-facing experience. 8. Work arrangement Primarily field-based, working on-site at community events and partner venues. 9. Job location Sacramento (80% time), Manteca (10% time), and Stockton (10% time). 10. Salary range

$36,000

Max:

$44,000 (full-time equivalent, annualized); actual compensation prorated to 0.3 FTE. 11.
