In this role, you will develop and implement strategic outreach initiatives, foster meaningful relationships, and promote our programs and services within the Chinese community. Your energetic approach will help us build trust, increase engagement, and expand our presence, ensuring our mission resonates authentically with diverse audiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact while honing your community engagement and marketing skills. Duties Develop comprehensive outreach strategies tailored to the Chinese community, including cultural events, workshops, and informational sessions Build and nurture relationships with community leaders, local organizations, businesses, and influencers to enhance visibility and collaboration Create culturally relevant marketing materials in Mandarin or Cantonese to effectively communicate our offerings Organize and participate in community events to raise awareness of our programs and services Serve as a cultural ambassador by providing translation, interpretation, and guidance during outreach activities Monitor community feedback and engagement metrics to refine outreach approaches continuously Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, partnerships, and community feedback for reporting purposes Experience Proven experience in community outreach, marketing, or public relations within Chinese-speaking communities Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese (spoken and written) is essential; proficiency in English is required Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect authentically across cultural boundaries Knowledge of local Chinese community networks, organizations, and cultural norms Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute events with attention to detail and cultural sensitivity Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—are crucial for effective engagement Prior experience with digital marketing tools or social media platforms targeting Chinese audiences is a plus Join us in making a meaningful difference by strengthening ties within the Chinese community!
